Rob Ford tried to win city contracts for a company that partnered with his family business
In a lengthy investigative piece published earlier today, the Globe presents evidence that Rob and Doug Ford used their influence to lobby senior city staffers. The brothers were apparently trying to win city business for a printing company called Donnelley Canada. The disturbing part is that Donnelley had just entered into a partnership with the Ford family business, Deco Labels and Tags, meaning the mayor could have personally benefitted from a fat city contract. No work was ever awarded to Donnelley. The Globe says the story came to light after an ex-Deco vice president became incensed at the mayor’s anti-semitic comments and turned whistleblower. What’s more, the Fords have been caught doing this kind of thing before.

At this point the pile of skeletons is bigger than the closet and more to come.
And he’s still running for mayor. And lots of people will still vote for him… I have no words.
Classic illustration. I love it.
No problem. They just get a bigger closet.
He’s running for mayor, and openly campaigning. Is Greed-Stoned a rehab facility, or just another enabler?
“The irrefutable evidence that this indeed 100% happened, is wrong” – Doug Ford
You have no words? But what did I just read? You don’t make 2 statements and then say, “I have no words”.
The Corleone’s didn’t run for office. The Ford’s have enough dirt on them to grow a garden.
“This is a pattern of misusing his public office to help his business. It’s not acceptable, not appropriate and not ethical,” You are absolutely correct Olivia Chow. This also completely describes Robbies character. He can’t help it. He is just a scumbag.
