QUOTED: Prime-Minister-in-Waiting Rob Ford thinks public-funded healthcare is stupid

“I don’t believe in all this public-funded health care…I don’t mind two-tier health care. If you want health care, pay for it.”
—Rob Ford, who made his inaugural appearance on Washington D.C. radio show The Sport Junkies this morning. Given the fallout from yesterday’s damning new allegations, we might have expected the mayor to opt out of his new weekly gig giving NFL picks. Instead, he duly phoned in and even added to the controversy, categorically denying that tried to buy the infamous crack video, as well as slamming President Obama’s healthcare law and scoffing the notion that the Cleveland Indians or Washington Redskins should pick more politically-correct names. Ford didn’t fare better when he steered the conversation back to football. When one host asked him about women winning football bets, Ford said, “They just look to who’s the cutest guy … that’s how they pick ’em.” You can listen to the full clip here. [The Sports Junkies] »
This disgusting piece of shit truly needs to have his fat fucking skull bashed in.
OMG!! This man has to be stopped. What the hell is wrong with his family?? He needs help badly and they should get him out of the spotlight and into rehab.
You know he is actually enjoying every minute of this BECAUSE HE IS A SOCIOPATH (that’s right, I kanye-ed that sh*t).
i hate to say it, but he’s right…i came in 2nd in our office’s football pool because i picked shiny pants. now, can you please stop talking??????
If this is true, and not out of context.. then he really has kind of lost it
Troubling
Needs an intervention, for his own safety, at the very least.
Rob Ford is the gift that keeps on giving. All ‘Santa’ is missing is a white beard and a red suit.
Rob, you obviously love 4-down football and hate health care. Why don’t you move to Chicago and never come back?
Of course he doesn’t like free health care, he doesn’t need it. Must be nice not to worry about paying for health care. Alone, the land his family owns, including lots in the Muskoka’s their condominiums in Florida and their commercial lands, the Ford family real estate is worth more then 10 million..that is based on this link…. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/toronto/assessing-the-financial-affairs-of-average-guy-mayor-rob-ford/article15574327/
There is a story in the Toronto Star about Rob Ford supporters who live in Rexdale and would be considered to be poor. They love him because he treats them so well and responds to their concerns, however, these same people would not be able to afford health care if Rob Ford had his way and we had a two-tier health care system.
But on the other hand, he says that his constituency, the people he stands up for, are the poor.
Rob Ford’s idea of public policy is this: Let SOMEBODY ELSE pay for it!
Pathetic. Ford is having his andy warhol 15 minutes.
