For reasons that aren’t quite clear, Mohamed Farah, the guy who attempted to broker the sale of the first Rob Ford crack video (not to be confused with the second Rob Ford crack video) to Gawker and the Star, just gave an interview to Vice. Though Farah exhausted his store of shocking information when he appeared on The Fifth Estate last year, he did have a few interesting—if unverifiable—things to say this time around. For one, he says he’s “pretty sure” that he’s the unnamed person the mayor is threatening in the infamous “murder rant” video. This would seem more plausible if Kathy Ford’s ex-husband hadn’t already made the same claim in a court filing. Farah also told Vice that the same man who shot the first Ford crack video also shot video of a judge smoking crack, but withheld it from the public to avoid blowback.
