Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was spotted at Paris Texas over the weekend—well, sort of. It wasn’t the Paris Texas on King West in Toronto, but a pop-up event hosted by the bar’s owners in Las Vegas.
In photos and videos posted on social media, Bezos is pictured wearing sunglasses in the club, appearing to enjoy King West as a concept without actually being in Toronto.

The Municipal Goods hospitality group, which owns Paris Texas, has had a busy year, in and out of the city. The company opened a boutique hotel in Muskoka as well as a jazz bar on Ossington, and has thrown several Paris Texas pop-ups in Vegas, in addition to an upcoming pop-up in Miami.
Is this a sign we’ll see Bezos and his $215-billion net worth out and about in Toronto this winter? Whatever, just tip your bartender, and no vaping at the table.
