QUOTED: Doug Ford on Crazy Town, Robyn Doolittle’s book about his family

“Typical Toronto Star and Robyn Doolittle. It’s always anonymous. Everything’s anonymous…you know I could put a book together that’s anonymous sources about Robyn Doolittle and all the shenanigans at the Toronto Star, but we have a job to do and that’s to save the taxpayer’s money.”
—The mayor’s brother, councillor Doug Ford, sharing his reaction to Star reporter Robyn Dolittle’s Crazy Town. The book, which was released earlier today, contains new details about the Ford family’s efforts to balance its alleged drug and alcohol problems with its political ambitions.

How about you put together a law suit, refuting all of these terrible, terrible untrue things? No? Ok then. Shut up.
Sit down. Relax. Listen to some music: http://nowtoronto.com/daily/story.cfm?content=196511
People who go on the record in the Ford’s world get their legs broken and teeth bashed in. As for his book, I didn’t realize an audiobook of unedited, lie fuelled, tangential rants would be considered something of literary value.
“Typical Toronto Star and Robyn Doolittle”
Hmm… if the book is truly typical of the Toronto Star and Robyn Doolittle, then I guess it’s all true then, right Dougie?
Wow..Doug looks like he picked up all the pounds Rob claims he’s lost. On some level you have to feel bad for Doug as all of his siblings are degenerate dirt bags while he tries vainly to keep his father’s legacy from being snorted, smoked, injected and dragged through the gutter. Of course Doug has been Rob’s biggest enabler so he shouldn’t be surprised when the Etobicoke “Kennedys” political ambitions end up in a jail cell where they belong.
Gee Doug, look at the bright side…a few more alleged shootings and murders and your clan could be Etobicokes version of the Bush Crime Family.
Rob’s lost weight? huh. I thought that was just a thing Rob was saying.
Also, don’t feel bad for Doug. If he really cared about saving the family’s reputation, he’d get his little bro to rehab posthaste instead of continuing to enable him. Doug’s one of the few people Rob would actually listen to on this issue.
Whether they are anonymous or not eventually they will identify themselves, which in turn will make the Ford brothers once again look like fools. And as far as saving tax payers money? Give me a break! I know for a fact that Toronto taxpayers don’t want their tax dollars paying the salary of a self confessed drug user!!! We are indirectly supporting the Mayors habits. I say give it up boys, you have ridden the “Saving Tax Payers Money Train” long enough, this is your stop, get off!
Dear Doug: Stop it. Stop it, stop it, just STOP trying to salvage your little bros. reputation at someone else’s expense. If your little bro, and the REST of you hadn’t been so flamboyant in the first place, there wouldn’t have been enough info or interest to warrant a book- you Kennedys, you.
Hey Doug when are you going to put the book out?
Dennis Morris (Rob Ford’s Lawyer) …..“He may have indulged on occasion with alcohol consumption but in terms of drugs, I don’t think that he ever has brought any into his home, consumed any in his home, and from what I gather she is at home with the kids 90% of the time.”
This comment is 180 degrees diametrically opposed to former staffer Chris Finkel’s statement to the police that he went to Ford’s house on a Friday night to fix a computer, the house was in tatters and Ford was smoking dope (I think Renata was in the house). Ford invited Finkel’s date into the house to smoke up with them. She declined.
Doug can’t stop it. His political ambitions depend on Rob’s fortunes
oh, great, can’t wait to read a book about Doolittle and all the shenanigans. What’ll be in it? Elected officials pretending to be ‘regular folks’ who actually waste all our money and their time on booze, drugs, and hookers? No? Never mind then.
“All the President’s Men:
The year was 1972.
Along with his journalistic collaborator Carl Bernstein, Woodward was
preparing to report that John Mitchell had directed a slush fund for
operatives of President Nixon’s re-election campaign to investigate
leading Democrats while serving as U.S. attorney general.
Here’s Mitchell reply: “All that crap, you’re putting it in the paper?
It’s all been denied. Katie Graham’s gonna get her [tit] caught in a big
fat wringer if that’s published … You fellows got a great ballgame
going. As soon as you’re through paying [Post lawyer] Ed Williams and
the rest of those fellows, we’re going to do a story on all of you.”
You steal from the best, Doug.
And like Mitchell, you’re on your way to disgrace
and prison.
Robin Doolittle gives only more “JUNK FOOD” for the people who already OBSESS over Rob Stinking Ford!!!
The more he protests the more the reality of the book being true
