Andre De Grasse, the 21-year-old sprinter from Markham, has thrilled the entire country with his wins in Rio: bronze in the men’s 100-metre dash, and, last night, a silver in the 200-metre. (His final event, the men’s 4x100-metre relay, is tonight.) Beyond Canada, his friendly rivalry with Usain Bolt has become an internet obsession.
