Condomonium: $2.3 million for a downtown penthouse with a heart-stopping terrace
ADDRESS: 33 Charles Street East, Unit 4601
NEIGHBOURHOOD: Church-Yonge Corridor
AGENTS: Cameron Weir and Scott Hanton , Keller Williams Advantage Realty
PRICE: $2,299,000
THE PLACE: A southeast penthouse in the two-year-old Casa Condominio Residenza, a glassy downtown tower with an eye-catching overhanging concrete roof and nighttime lighting scheme.
BRAGGING RIGHTS: Pretty impressive: the owner of the unit was part of a founding team for Zynga, a.k.a. the company behind our Farmville addiction. Even more impressive: the views from the wraparound balcony and rooftop terrace, which look over the city all the way to the lake.
BIG SELLING POINT: Location-wise, this building is pretty hard to beat. Bloor Street shopping, Yorkville and the Royal Ontario Museum are within walking distance and the business district is a very brief commute away.
POSSIBLE DEAL BREAKER: The photos of the view were enough to have us swooning with jealousy—and dizziness. You might have to supply a fainting couch in the sunroom for guests that can’t handle heights.

2.3M, I think NOT. The only attractive feature is the outdoor space. I’ll pass.
Fabulous. I lived in similar type condo (but larger) and there is nothing like it.
If I have the money, I would definitely get this place, it’s gooorgeous!!
i love the deck, but could never use it….i wish the railing was higher…but even still…with all the news of the falling glass-it still couldn’t get me close to the edge
I’m getting vertigo just looking at the photos :S
There’s a lightbulb out in the master ensuite :-p
All these condos are starting to look the same to me.
worth every penny. But way too much outdoor space for being 46 floors up ? Madness! Close in the space and get more room. I love the minimalistic approach to the decor.
Love the outdoor space, but would have to use a harness at all time! The look of the window walls remind me of prison.
Beautiful space and I especially love the outdoor terraces!!
46 floors up is a little too high for me.

At $718/sq. ft., it seems a little over priced considering the average price per sq. ft. currently in Toronto… in my opinion
Huuuuuuuge price drop!
Now asking $1.99 million. Probably could be had for a few hundred thousand less on top of that, maybe through in the furniture too.
