Coke must have about crapped themselves with joy when Participaction agreed.
you mean Coke, the world’s most successful brand, spending millions to get kids moving? to embrace front of package calorie labelling?
Coke is trying to do some good.
You would all rather a world in which participation gets less money, or we get taxed to do something corporate partners are perfectly willing to do?
Coke recognizes kids need to get off their duff. So does Participaction. Makes sense I’m sorry, but there was no “diet” anything 30 years ago, yet childhood obesity is out of control today.
I think Coke is showing they have a roll to play. Good for them.
It’s called corporate responsibility.
We all bemoan how big companies don’t give a crap and then when one steps up, fists are shaken because some of their products have sugar?
They sell water, too.
I don’t see a problem with this. I’m guessing even Hal Johnson knows a healthy lifestyle is about choice. Why can’t Coca-Cola play an active part in helping kids make healthy choices?
