The surprise launch party for Fring’s, September 21: Drake celebrated the opening of his Susur Lee restaurant collaboration with celeb friends like Serena Williams, Jada Pinkett Smith and Jaden Smith.

The David Foster Foundation Miracle Gala and Concert, September 26: The Grammy-winning musician/songwriter/producer hosted a huge black-tie fundraiser for his foundation (which pays non-medical bills for families of children awaiting transplants) in the old Maple Leaf Gardens. Guests were treated to performances by Stevie Wonder, Peter Cetera, Kiesza and Michael Bolton.
