Last weekend, Toronto socialites, artists and business moguls ditched the city and headed to the countryside for art collector and patron Bruce Bailey’s annual Canadian Fête Champêtre. Notable guests—including Suzanne Rogers, Jeanne Beker and a green-haired Margaret Atwood—brought out fantastical outfits for the gala’s masquerade theme, “Un ballo in maschera.” Bailey’s fundraiser featured performances by Montreal circus artists, vocalists from the Canadian Opera Company and dancers from Canada’s National Ballet School, raising $1.5 million to benefit institutions such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Below, the event’s most delightfully extra ensembles.
