Even in the dead of winter, when 90 per cent of the city is swaddled in down-filled Arctic Tech, there’s one neighbourhood where style definitely isn’t dead: Yorkville. The swanky ‘hood is a hotbed of inspiring winter fashion—even, as it turns out, in the middle of a workday on one of the coldest afternoons of the year. We spotted pedestrians young and old looking casually cool in furs, statement coats and lots of luxurious layers. Here’s how they pulled it off.
