For ten days every June, the Church-Wellesley Village, usually a pretty lively neighbourhood anyway, transforms into a rainbow-clad celebration of everything queer. This year, thanks to WorldPride, the style, decor and festivities are even bolder. During the post-work hustle this week, we encountered sweaty volunteers setting up for the weekend, international tourists exploring the area and hard-partying Pride-goers just waking up from a nap. Here are a few of our favourites.
