The story behind Drake’s new custom jacket, lined with a Toronto Huskies jersey

On Wednesday, the Toronto Raptors held their annual Drake Night, a game-long appreciation of the team’s official ambassador (and the city’s unofficial one), at which Drizzy assumes a courtside position. Attendees at the game each got to take home their very own Drake Night-themed shirt, while Drake himself was presented with a custom, Toronto Huskies jersey-lined jacket from Raptors GM Masai Uriji.

Drake has gotten a similar custom jacket for on all three of the Raptors’ annual Drake Nights, but this is the first time Years Co—which launched this year—has been involved (Garrison Bespoke, which designed the previous two, worked alongside Years on this one, as well). We asked Ben Gottlieb and William Ng of Years Co to tell us what went into making Drake’s 2016 custom coat.
