Proving that it’s not just about exclusive dos for socialites, Holt Renfrew aimed for urban edginess at a live Q&A on Saturday with Pharrell Williams. Garbed in shades, a fedora and leopard-print slip-ons, the rapper-slash-producer-slash-designer talked up his decade-old premium menswear line, Billionaire Boys Club, which is being sold out of Holts’s Yorkdale location until the end of October. For readers more interested in Pharrell’s Toronto itinerary than his $1,200 Swarovski-studded hoodies: he also ate at Little Portugal sandwich joint Porchetta and Company and swung by Tim Hortons in Deadmau5’s Ferrari.
