Fashion is reporting that models at LG Fashion Week here in Toronto are complaining that there’s no food backstage—problematic, since many do shows one right after the other. In fact, Jeanne Beker tweeted that there’s a petition circulating around the Allstream Centre demanding the right to food: “3 models just came up to me and asked me to sign a petition requesting that the FDCC provide food backstage for models!” Model Addison Gill also sent out a message on Twitter: “Feed the Models Petition! Sign it now backstage at LG fashionweek.” And you thought models didn’t eat.
