Lucian Matis launches a home décor holiday pop-up at The Shops at Don Mills

Lucian Matis was a runner-up on the first season of Project Runway Canada back in 2007. Since brushing off the loss, the Romanian-born designer has been pumping out sculptural womenswear through two well-received clothing lines—couture line Lucian Matis and lifestyle collection Matis by Lucian Matis—and has more recently launched a home accessories line. Home by Lucian Matis makes its debut as a month-long pop-up at The Shops of Don Mills at Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue. The temporary boutique, which runs until January 6, includes the designer’s boldly patterned cushions, cozy throws and handcrafted bed linens, all of which will be selling at 40 to 50 per cent discounts. As an added bonus, selected pieces from the designer’s eponymous clothing lines will also be up for grabs at extremely tempting reductions—up to 80 per cent off.
