Knitwear whiz Mark Fast teams up with Danier for fall-winter

Mark Fast, the Canadian-born, London-based designer famous for his barely there knitwear, has teamed up with Canadian leather goods purveyor Danier for his upcoming fall-winter collection. The line, which will be shown in February at London fashion week, will incorporate leather elements created by Danier. Fur and leather have seen a rise in popularity in recent seasons, with such designers as Alexander Wang, Michael Kors and Canadian fur specialists Izma showing it on the runway. If past Fast looks are anything to go by, expect to see leather leggings with giant holes and leather blouses with torn streaks—you know, ideal for fall and winter weather.
