Jeanne Beker is one of the most iconic and influential women in the fashion industry

The Banff World Media Festival, taking place from June 10–13, has announced that Jeanne Beker will be receiving the 2012 Canadian Award of Distinction for being “one of the most iconic and influential women in the fashion industry, both here in Canada and around the world.” Beker will also sit down with Larry King for “In Conversation with: Canadian Award of Distinction Winner, Jeanne Beker.” It’s not the best title for a talk, but the experience is certainly good for the ol’ CV.
