VIDEO: Greta Constantine previews the scissors it uses to cut fabric

Greta Constantine duo Stephen Wong and Kirk Pickersgill have released a preview video for their fall/winter 2012 collection, which will debut in Toronto on March 9. Contrary to what a preview usually entails, this video mostly focuses on Wong and Pickersgill cutting fabric and staring at spools of thread. Sure, it reminds us a little of B-roll from Project Runway Canada, but we did think it was pretty interesting to watch the boys developing ideas, talking about what defines Greta Constantine and getting ready for one of the more anticipated off-site shows. We just wish it had been more voyeuristic—like, where are the strewn bottles of prosecco? Where are the giant swatches and muslins? And where’s Coco Rocha?
