Being a new parent is stressful enough without having to worry about finding the right products for runny noses, diaper rashes, stretch marks, sore nipples and the myriad other issues that accompany welcoming a new addition to the family. Enter Baby Box, a new charity that sends a stacked carton full of all-natural products to parents-to-be, no strings attached. The packages, which are currently being rolled out in Ontario (a Canada-wide release is in the works), are inspired by the cardboard starter kits Finland’s government has been providing expectant mothers for more than 75 years. Inside are 16 items valued at more than $150, including protein-packed nutritional supplements for moms, shea butter-infused baby wipes and nourishing antiseptic creams. Expectant parents can sign up here.
