eBay Canada is entering the designer collaboration game for the holidays

It’s July 17 and there’s an extreme heat advisory, but eBay Canada picked today to announce its plans for the holiday season, which include collaborations with seven well-known designers: Billy Reid, Chris Benz, Fallon, Jonathan Adler, Ruffian, Steven Alan and Tibi. Each brand will produce limited edition gifts ranging in price from $50 to $100, and eBay will sell the resulting men’s and women’s apparel, jewellery, travel accessories and home décor online, with no shipping fees anywhere in Canada. Could this be a Canadian response to Target and Neiman Marcus’s buzzy designer holiday collection?
