CUPE plays down Mark Ferguson’s “I quit” declaration

Rumours of Mark Fergusons resignation have been greatly exaggerated. Sure, the CUPE Local 416 president did, reportedly, say “I quit” to a bunch of union members—but that doesn’t mean he actually quit. CUPE now says that Ferguson is taking a couple of weeks off to spend some time with his family, safe from the slings and arrows of all those, um, “motherfuckers.” We can’t say we blame him.
