A couple of updates from the vintage store nexus around Ossington and Queen West. First, Chosen, Melissa Ball’s second-floor vintage shop on Queen at Shaw, has moved downstairs into the space left vacant when Ruins was shuttered in late August. Apart from increased walk-in traffic, the move to street level gives Ball enough extra space to add another rack of guys’ stuff. Stay tuned for an official opening party before Halloween.

Second, after a summer-long soft opening, Rescue, another vintage store at Ossington and Argyle, has officially launched. Owner Renee Kaylor has increased the size of her stock and is now open every day but Monday. Rescue has earned raves for its quaint interior and vintage designer pieces (think Chanel, Pucci, Fendi and YSL).
