Ashley Rowe announces the venue of her (way) off-site show: the Internet

Ashley Rowe has decided to take her collection on-line this season, saying goodbye to a dungeon-like cramp fest and hello to the Internet super-runway. Rowe announced today that her first ever “live” runway show will take place on her Web site on April 15 (time TBD). Moving on-line is a good move for Rowe, as cool art spaces don’t offer enough light or room to see the full effect of her details and draping. We also can’t help but think her vision is more global (we still haven’t seen a tie-dyed Friar Tuck on the streets of Toronto). We’re kind of excited, because although this lacks glam, sometimes we just want to look at clothes in our underwear.
