One of the week’s big-name designers, Andy Thê-Anh, decided to skip the runway show in favour of a presentation in the tent’s “showroom.” This involved models lounging on sofas and walking in one corner of the overcrowded room. In an interview with Jeanne Beker following the exhibit, Thê-Anh said that he wanted to make the clothes more accessible to the audience. But really no one got much of a view. This is too bad, because he consistently puts forth well-cut pieces in sumptuous fabrics and rich colours. Fortunately, our photographer got some shots—see them below.
