Frank and Oak is opening a store in Sherway Gardens The Montreal-based menswear brand is opening its second Toronto location in the Etobicoke mall this summer. The concept shop will be kitted out just like the Queen West flagship, with an in-store cafe, barber shop and apothecary section. Now west-enders will be able to score monthly rotations of fashionable-yet-affordable wardrobe staples and cool collaborations, like this new elevated athleisure collection with LA-based menswear brand CWST. Kate Spade is now open in Square One After almost two years of renovations, Mississauga’s main mall revealed its brand-new luxury wing this week. It boasts a futuristic look and a lineup of seriously swanky brands like Kate Spade, Harry Rosen, Wolford, Michael Kors and Stuart Weitzman. Quebec department store Simons will arrive later this month, and Holt Renfrew’s 130,000-square-foot flagship will open its doors this summer. 100 City Centre Dr., 905-279-7467, shopsquareone.com.

Fashion Week tickets are on sale now Toronto Fashion Week is a little different this season. For one, corporate sponsor MasterCard has been dropped, so attendees no longer have to utter the mouthful “World MasterCard Fashion Week.” It’s also more consumer-focused, meaning runways will be filled with more clothing you might actually want to wear. A few new labels to look out for: Ellie Mae’s beautifully patterned jackets, Jennifer Torosian’s office staples and Daniel Christian Tang’s 3D-printed jewellery. Tickets can be purchased here.   The Eaton Centre welcomes AllSaints After opening its Yorkdale store a few years ago, AllSaints has finally brought its distinctly British brand of grungy sophistication downtown. The 1,500-square-foot space is filled with the label’s spring collection, a mix of minimalist basics (suede leggings, cotton crewnecks) and edgy statement pieces (embossed leather bomber jackets, studded stomping boots). It also houses AllSaint’s debut handbag collection, which includes chic finds like this oversized rust-hued clutch. 220 Yonge St., 647-776-1199, allsaints.com.

Christopher Bates launches lip-printed footwear line The Toronto-bred menswear designer and regular Men’s Fashion Week closer has created a slick, five-pair footwear line with Harry Rosen. The collection consists of classic styles that look great with a tailored suit, like patent-leather oxfords and suede slip-ons. Our favourite, though, is a pair of velvet loafers embroidered with his signature lip stamp that give off a bit of a Hugh Hefner vibe. Each pair is $450, and can be purchased in-store or online.
