It’s tough being a not-tinily-proportioned lover of quality vintage clothing, which for some reason tends to be sized relatively small (perhaps because the bigger stuff just doesn’t get given away as much). This Sunday, June 1, the team behind Toronto blog Fat Girl Food Squad is addressing the issue with a one-day vintage-and-secondhand clothing shop dedicated to women sizes 14 and up. The sale is taking place upstairs at Sneaky Dee’s, where shoppers will be able to sip drinks and nibble snacks while perusing clothes, shoes, handbags and jewelery supplied by a bunch of seasoned vintage retailers, including local plus-size specialist Ursa Major, whose items are pictured above.
