Toronto’s retail pop-up scene is gaining momentum, with new shopping opportunities emerging (and then disappearing) all the time. We’re keeping a lookout for the temporary shops you don’t want to miss.

For five days starting today, Style Democracy is holding its first pop-up of the season at a venue across from Trinity Bellwoods Park. The events company is well-known among label-conscious Torontonians for its designer sample sales, which it’s been holding on a monthly basis since the late ’90s. In this week’s warehouse-sale-cum-pop-up, shoppers can browse brands like Rag & Bone, Parker NY and J. Brand, which are selling for up to 80 per cent off. One of the most appealing bargains is Paige Denim for $59. (The jeans typically go for upwards of $200). As for us? We have our eye on a $299 Neil Barrett leather dress that’s been marked down from $1,998.
