The Find: an Erdem dress that hops on the flamo (that’s floral + camo) trend
“Flamo” (or “flomo”)—a mash-up of floral and camo—is both the latest fashion neologism and the latest hot print. Basically, it involves layering small florals over a camouflage pattern, which results in an effect somewhat reminiscent of Magic Eye images. We’ve seen the composite print deployed in a few different ways, but our favourite comes courtesy of Erdem Moralioğlu (who studied fashion at Ryerson but is now based in London). The rich colours are both feminine and fall-appropriate, and the small, all-over print and body-skimming cut will hide anything that you’d prefer to hide. (The brand also wins the celebrity stamp of approval: Emma Watson wore another floral Erdem dress at TIFF over the weekend.) $695. Click to buy »

Been there, done that. Somethings should stay in the past.
I’d rather pay $55 more and get this ugly Erdem dress than $640 for a FAUX shearling jacket The Find is trying to push just because the IKEA monkey wore one.
