Dressing up for Where the Wild Things Are

Dressing up for Where the Wild Things Are

Spike Jonze’s highly anticipated Where the Wild Things Are opens in theatres today, but we’re just as excited that hipster label Opening Ceremony has launched a line (available at openingceremony.us) inspired by the film’s characters.

We love some of the faux-fur pieces, like the caramel K.W. coat and pleated Ira skirt, as well as the silkscreened tees. But we’ll leave the $610 Max Suit, a full-length fleece jumpsuit with horned hood, detachable raccoon tail and snap closures, to wealthier (and well-connected—the outfit is already sold out on-line) fans of the story.
