The Property: This modern new-build is a standout in a neighbourhood of suburban bungalows. Inside, there’s a fancy floating staircase, a built-in wine wall and plenty of sleek custom walnut paneling.

The History: The seller bought the lot as an investment property, then knocked down the existing house to build this one in its place. Construction finished in September, and the property went on the market in January.

  • 30-by-125-foot lot
