The history

The property is on a dead end street, across from the Scarborough Bluffs. The house was custom-built about six years ago. The current owners, who bought the house shortly after it was completed, finished the basement and put in an extra bathroom.

Big selling point

The house is wedged between a park and the lake, giving it an incredible atmosphere of seclusion. The term “cottage-like” gets thrown around a lot, but this might be one instance in which it actually applies.

Possible deal breaker

The proximity of the bluffs may worry parents of young children. Fortunately, the backyard is fully fenced in, so kids won’t have an easy time wandering off during outdoor play sessions:
