The Place

A three-bedroom, four-bathroom modernist oddity just north of High Park. The original owner built this home for his daughter in 2016. It comes with many quirks, including camouflaged storage, heated floors and a two-car garage—a rarity for this corner of the west end. It’s within walking distance of Dupont and the Junction as well as four subway stations. And motorists are a short drive from the Gardiner and Lake Shore.

The Tour

The façade is plain for contemporary Toronto but loud for High Park, a neighbourhood dominated by British heritage architecture. It features massive windows, a slender silhouette and black stucco, which cleverly masks the front door.
