The history

The house was built in 1938. When its present owners, one of whom is interior designer Trevor Kruse, bought the place in 2012, it had already been converted into three 1,000-square-foot apartments. They gutted the interior and built a two-storey addition at the front of the house to create two “bigger and better” furnished suites, instead of three. The ground-floor unit now has a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and an 800-square-foot courtyard. Kruse’s office is on the lower level, and the upper apartment is accessible by elevator.
