A five-bedroom, six-plus-one-bathroom Hamptons-inspired rental behemoth in Gloucester Pool, Muskoka. The property sleeps up to 12 guests and comes with a long list of amenities, such as a temperature-controlled wine cellar, a basketball court, a jumbo patio with a hot tub and tons of boating options. Its 65-metre private shoreline is ideal for lounging. And for extra fees, visitors can host a private chef as well as fly by helicopter to and from Toronto.
The current owner built this compound in 2021 with extravagance in mind. He kept the bones of the original house while adding all the fun stuff.

Here’s the façade, facing Gloucester Pool. To the left, there’s an outdoor bar, a hot tub and a gas grill. In the distance, guests will find lounges, an outdoor kitchen, a covered dining area and manicured gardens. It’s hard to be bored with so much going on in the front yard alone.
The 12-person firepit—surrounded by canoes and kayaks—sits at the bottom of the patio’s stone steps.
Don’t have the time or energy for Toronto’s horrendous traffic? Take a 20-minute flight from the city instead.
Inside, there’s no foyer to be found, just the sun-drenched great room, complete with staggering floor-to-ceiling windows.
Curl up next to the wood-burning fireplace or hang out at the old-timey bar on the left.
Nearby is the temperature-controlled wine cellar.
The dining room and coffee station comes with another gorgeous view through the rotunda-like bay window.
Patrons can request private-chef service (prepping, cooking and cleaning) during their stay as well as a grocery delivery service.
The kitchen’s all-white coastal look is juxtaposed by its live-edge wood dining table. Those counters are marble, and the backsplash is tile.
Now for the primary bedroom, also on the main floor, which features a lounge and a walkout to the front patio. Each of the bedrooms comes with an ensuite bathroom. Note the dramatic half-circle window.
Moving to the second floor reveals this secondary bedroom, large enough to fit a king-sized bed.
This is the old garage, now a fitness centre with a handy kitchen and bar.
The gym’s shiplap ceilings point to the backyard exit.
The regulation tennis court and pavilion were modelled after Wimbledon.
Here’s another look at the mansion at dusk.
