Toronto needs more rental buildings. As housing prices continue to climb out of reach, millennials and young families are recalibrating their five-year plans, searching for ways to build stable futures in borrowed rooms. Their options are limited. Condos, which represent 99 per cent of the city’s new rental supply, leave tenants at the mercy of capricious landlords who can sell at any time—a drag for students in their 20s but a full-blown life crisis for families with kids. Condos are often that much to carry a mortgage & pay condo fees. Finding anything reasonably priced that isn’t a slum is hard. Co-ops are a great option but very basic and waiting lists are long.
The address for the two towers at Balliol Park are 99 Davisville Ave and 118 Balliol Street
