A luxurious recently renovated seven-plus-one-bedroom, seven-bathroom home just north of Lawrence and Leslie. The house comes with storage galore, bespoke millwork, Italian marble, custom light installations and glasswork from the same supplier as Tiffany and Co. It’s within walking distance of Rippleton Park, the Toronto Botanical Garden and the 51 bus. And motorists are a short drive from both York Mills and the DVP.

Walking through the front door highlights the foyer’s grand sculptural staircase and playful custom LED installation made with over 100 bulbs. The second-storey skylight bathes the foyer in natural light.
The American white-oak floors are laid in a herringbone pattern across the first floor.
The home comes with two kitchens. This one is lined with Italian Arabescato marble, a giant hood fan, a hidden Miele French-door fridge and a coveted La Cornue range that was handcrafted in France.
This trap pantry door leads to the butler’s kitchen.
There’s also a marble backsplash, a granite sink with a matte white faucet and a 48-inch Wolf gas range with a wok station. Not pictured is a full suite of appliances, including a steam oven, a microwave, and an integrated fridge and freezer.
Here’s the dining room. Its custom light fixture, curtains and table are all custom, the latter made from a slab of marble. Above is handcrafted plaster crown moulding, typical of old-world architecture.
Next door is the living room, fitted with a Samsung Frame TV, a gas fireplace and more bespoke furniture. Purchase of the place’s furniture is negotiable as part of the sale.
Down the hall is the powder room, which features a dramatic ceiling-hung droplet faucet and a floating lilac solid-marble sink.
Built-in shelves frame the office, which overlooks the neighbourhood.
This home comes with two main bedroom suites. This one is on the main floor, perfect for older folks who want to avoid stairs. It also has an ensuite bathroom (not pictured).
Moving to the upper floor reveals the second main bedroom. Its custom bed frame is made with high-end fabrics.
A sleek two-sided electric fireplace sits across from the bed. During the summer, residents can see the flame without feeling the heat.
The suite’s walk-in closet brings the moody millwork.
Now for the ensuite: a jumbo marble vanity, reeded marble on the walls and square-foot marble floor tiles. It’s intended to have a spa-like aesthetic. Note the fluted soaker tub.
The property’s second walk-in closet is on the other side of the glass doors.
That second walk-in was built in a U shape, with shoe cabinets on one end and shelves for bags on the other.
Here’s a peek inside one of the secondary bedrooms. Each comes with a consistent design motif and those bespoke curtains.
Here’s one of the secondary ensuites, dressed in marble-printed porcelain. It also comes with a huge vanity and another skylight.
Another bedroom is currently set up as a workspace. That custom printed wallpaper from Sweden is a continuous mural rather than a repeated pattern, so you don’t see any seams.
Downstairs, the owners went with a jazz bar theme—a crystal chandelier, an island with a camouflaged sink, dark walnut millwork. The underground space walks out to the backyard deck (more on that in a minute).
But the jazz bar’s baby grand piano and lounge seating are the real stars.
Turn around and you’re in the entertainment zone, with an 86-inch screen for game days and movie nights.
Lastly, here’s a view of the deck and backyard, an ideal spot for hosting a summer party.
