BRAGGING RIGHTS: During TIFF this year, the house hosted the after-party for The Bang Bang Club. How many homeowners can brag that Malin Akerman has been in their living room until 3 a.m.? BIG SELLING POINT: The spa—with a gym, Japanese bath and steam room, all housed in a greenhouse overlooking the ravine—was perfect for Civello, who couldn’t visit his own spas for fear of colleagues barging in with questions. POSSIBLE DEAL BREAKER: The phrase “people who live in glass houses” comes to mind. No stone throwing, to be sure, but with the pool boy potentially lingering nearby, new residents should remember to put on pants for every trip to the kitchen.
