Something amazing is happening at Dufferin and Dupont—a brand-new city park community, one that will be home to more than 6,000 residents living as one in eight distinctive condominium towers.

The community is ELAD Canada’s Galleria on the Park, and it’s Toronto’s most inspired new urban neighbourhood of condominiums, shops and places to gather, all located next to an incredible eight-acre park and 95,000-square-foot, state-of-the art community centre. Living at Galleria immerses you in a premium wellness lifestyle, with convenient access to on-site creative office spaces, high-quality retail outlets, and excellent transit connections. Walkable, generous sidewalks lined with trees and plants, and colourfully patterned streets create an ideal environment for urban living.

With the introduction of Galleria on the Park, the transformation of Toronto’s west end and the new Dupont continues. Now ELAD is launching Galleria III, the next phase in this master-planned community. The first phase of the development, which included Galleria 01 and Galleria 02, sold out very quickly, and is already under construction. Sales of Galleria III will start soon.

It’s all about the park

The park is the heart of the community. Whether you’re an ice skater, nature lover, sports enthusiast or picnicker, you’ll love, its vast, exciting green spaces and designated areas for athletic pursuits, adjacent to the new Wallace-Emerson Community Centre.

The community centre is bound to be a magnet for area residents. A state-of-the-art facility, it replaces the old community centre and will be built as part of the first phase of construction. This is an uncommon way to roll out a master-planned community—usually the larger amenities are the last to be built. But Galleria on the Park aspires to a new state of wellness, prioritizing places where residents can fulfill their needs for exercise, socializing, and connecting with each other.

Pedestrian-centered streetscapes

The gateway to the community, Galleria III is positioned at the beginning of the pedestrian-oriented mews and connects to Points Plaza, a privately owned public space that leads to the new park. Shops and restaurants spill onto the street, and patios and landscaped areas offer spots to gather and meet friends, have a coffee and watch the world go by.

Wellness and social amenities

Two entire floors of Galleria III, comprising 21,000 square feet, are devoted to premium amenities.

The third floor is designated as the Wellness Floor, with a fitness centre, including a spin studio and indoor and outdoor yoga, a spa circuit including steam room, plunge shower and sauna, a co-working facility, and a unique space called the Workshop, where artists can work and residents can borrow tools for DIY home projects. Outdoors, there is a terrace with private pods for relaxation, a private seating area with plantings for shade and privacy, an outdoor kids’ play zone, and a pets’ place with a dog run and pet wash.

On the 11th floor, designated as the Social Floor, you’ll find a social lounge with bar and billiards, a private dining room with chef’s kitchen and a kids’ club for toddlers and young children. The expansive outdoor terrace includes a BBQ area, partitioned dining areas and lounge seating, a lawn games area, and an elevated swimming pool with cabanas and lounge seating, overlooking the treetops of Dupont.

A landmark building with signature curves

The 31-storey Galleria III is an example of uniquely modern architecture with industrial heritage influences. It was designed by the preeminent Hariri Pontarini Architects to set a sophisticated tone for the new district—with signature curves and rounded edges paying tribute to well-loved Flatiron buildings of the 1920s. Galleria III is set to become a bold, new icon.

Inside Galleria III, the signature curves of the architecture are reflected in the luxurious interior design by the award-winning DesignAgency. Curved archways, balconies, curved furniture in amenity spaces, and curved kitchen accents all impart a romantic and glamorous feel that creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The mandate to design inviting spaces is mirrored in the exterior landscaping by Janet Rosenberg, one of Canada’s foremost landscape architects. Alive with green space, plants, trees and flowers, the outdoor spaces of Galleria III and the streetscapes surrounding all the residence buildings are places people will gravitate to, that inspire a feeling of well-being.

The master plan that is now coming to fruition for this city park community will not only transform the neighbourhood and the city; it will also be instrumental in enabling thousands of people to live, work, grow, and connect as one as they aspire to a higher state of well-being.
