Dreadful! No wonder you only have 12 pictures of this ‘thing’. An apartment building turned condo and this much in maint fee. You are paying for the area foremost. The new owner has to spend another $300K getting rid of that awful walnut wood all over, even in the kitchen and around the kitchen sink! The kitchen is drab, dark as it it with no sunlight it seems. Best thing about this ? the living room furniture.
hideous!
I actually like the walnut. Might be a bit much but it’s still a pretty sweet space. Stop hating people.
STUNNING, STUNNING, STUNNING!!! Finishes are impecable!
One would have to be a nut to buy this unit ;)
*impeccable…Sorry, I hit the button too quickly. I really do love this handsome suite!
I rather like the walnut, with the exception of the kitchen, which looks dreadfully oppressive and closed in with all that wood.
yuck. Too much walnut. This unit has no character. Such a shame…and who pays that much money in maintenance fees?!! That is lunacy.
Another like for the wood finishes. However why are there no bathroom pics? Are they somewhat dated and unsuitable for the asking price?
Waaaaay over-priced. Sell’er’s trying to get out of this maintenance-moneypit before the implosion that’s coming our way for Toronto’s condo market. My condolences, in advance, to any fool who purchases this box in the sky anywhere near this price-point.
Very elegant yet warm. I love it and would not change a thing,
Overpriced, yes and maintenance fees are ridiculous, but it is truly gorgeous!!!
I love it, but the fees…the fees are a whole mortgage payment on their own.
The ’70’s called; they want their condo back.
That building’s really old (it was old when I was a high school student at nearby BSS!), thus the high maintenance fees. Totally not worth it.
^^ I graduated high school in 1998.
Too much wood for my liking, and even with the updates, the unit still looks dated to me. And NO balcony?
Many of these older condos hitting the market now, all with hefty price tags due to excessive renos owners need to make in order to make the unit more appealing. Coupled with sky-high maintenance fees, I would be very interested to see how these units stand up over the next 5-years.
People who dont know Toronto and its history, fail to realize this is NOT an older condo. It was a high end rental apartment before converted to a condo. Rents in this apartment were like $5-7K per month, quite high end. A Balcony is so useless in Toronto generally – for 3 months of the year and overlooking a busy street infested car & pollution? Give me more indoor space!
Way, I mean WAY too much wood, it is so dated. Wood is nice but that much – it would have been a mistake at the time, now it is a fright. If this unit sells with the condo fees as stated – well then there is just no accounting….don’t make me state it.
The unit itself is beautiful and perfectly decorated. All the custom millwork in walnut is gorgeous. That being said, I also think they maybe went a titch too far with it, perhaps glossy white lacquer doors on the upper cabinets in the kitchen would have opened it up a bit and reflected some light better. I wonder how dark it feels in the space…..and why there are no pics of the bathrooms. The maintenance fees are outrageous especially with no outdoor space.
