Church conversions are a very trendy category in Toronto’s condo market at the moment, and so the photo above seems bound to break a few realtor hearts. At the centre of that smokey conflagration is the century-old Dufferin Street Presbyterian Church, which Concept Lofts was planning on converting into 14 condos, to be priced from the mid-$300s. The fire happened on Friday afternoon. As of then, according to the Globe, the developer hadn’t ruled out the possibility of salvaging what’s left of the structure.
