The 14,000-square-foot facility houses up to 120 dogs and 24 cats at a time. Overnight rates range from $79 for group sleeping quarters to $199 for a private poolside suite.

The place is located just three kilometres from Pearson International Airport. The staff keeps track of flight times and delays so that dogs are always ready to go when owners come to fetch them.

The cat wing has its own ventilation system (cats are particularly prone to upper respiratory problems). Guests are patted and played with one-on-one for at least two 20-minutes sessions per day. Owners can request additional cuddle time.

Each cat is housed in its own separate suite with a climbing wall and a “sky loft”—i.e. a window perch with a view of an outdoor bird feeder.
