Yesterday’s news that Shoppers Drug Mart had applied to become a licensed marijuana producer was entertaining for a number of reasons, not least because it positions sweater-wearing, Annex-dwelling Galen Weston as potentially the world’s biggest weed dealer. Mostly, though, people on Twitter were interested in the implications of the move for Shoppers’ Optimum program, which lets customers save up points for discounts. Observe:
