Getting to TIFF from your home in Los Angeles can be such a hassle. Until now, Hollywood types have had to rely on the usual assortment of mass-transportation options, like a bunch of chumps, or otherwise go to the trouble of getting their assistants to ready their private jets. But now American Airlines, after consulting a panel of entertainment industry figures, has decided to cater specifically to the TIFF crowd with a pair of new direct, round-trip flights between LAX and Pearson. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the flights will happen twice a day from September 7 to 14. They’ll leave Los Angeles in the mornings and return there from Toronto in the afternoons. The later flight on each day will happen aboard an Airbus A321T aircraft, which has a special business-class cabin with lie-flat seats. Premium customers will be able to check in to their flights curbside, rather than fighting the crowds for kiosk time. Finally! It’s about time these showbiz people caught a break.
