This October, TL Insiders can enjoy a spectacular performance at the opera one night and celebrate spooky season another. There are also several fantastic events with renowned business leaders that will help you stay informed, grow professionally and expand your network. Here’s what TL Insiders can look forward to in October—see you there.

What TL Insiders can look forward to this October

COC Night out at the Opera This fall, the Canadian Opera Company is premiering a brand new production of Faust by Charles Gounod. This classic French opera blends the scientific with the supernatural, featuring incredible visuals and a powerful score. Join fellow Insiders on opening night and enjoy a complimentary beverage plus access to the stunning, glass-enclosed members’ lounge. This event will be taking place at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on Friday, October 18 with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

What TL Insiders can look forward to this October

TL Insider X Fare Food Co Get ready for the most elevated Halloween-themed culinary event in the city. TL Insiders will enjoy an evening of seasonal fine dining with instruction led by Chefs Spencer Newlands and Tosh Agassiz of The Fare Food Co. in Toronto. Autumnal ingredients will be highlighted throughout the four course menu, and dinner will be served to a table of twelve lucky guests in a 180-year-old heritage building. Limited seats are available—this event will be taking place on Tuesday, October 29 from 7-10 p.m.

What TL Insiders can look forward to this October

CB Evolution Canadian Business returns with Evolution to program small business month through the following themes: Business Innovation, Micro-Business & Indigenous Entrepreneurship. CB Evolution brings together rising entrepreneurs, business enthusiasts and senior business leaders for a week of thought-provoking programming focused on Canada’s innovation landscape. A virtual fireside chat will be taking place on October 16th and in-person events will be taking place at Luma (Bell TIFF Lightbox Theatre) on October 22 and 24.

What TL Insiders can look forward to this October

Maclean’s Education Summit Join fellow TL Insiders for an evening of engaging ideas and conversation with thought leaders including Laura Pearce of Google Canada. In addition to networking opportunities, expect a panel discussion that focuses on the impact of AI on creativity, jobs and more. Food and drink stations will be available throughout the night. This event will be taking place at U of T’s Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus (108 College Street) on Wednesday, October 30 from 6-9 p.m.
