When the calendar flips from October to November, the holiday season suddenly feels a whole lot closer—and these upcoming events prove that it’s true. Between a visit to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and a classic holiday performance at Roy Thomson Hall, consider checking out the Toronto Life Neighbourhood Tour—this time, we’re showing Insiders the best of Queen and Church. Winter is coming, and so are these great events. Here’s a preview of what TL Insiders can look forward to in November.
Contest: TSO Holiday Concert Kick off the holiday season in style with an incredible performance by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. This year’s lineup includes Tchaikovsky’s timeless score for The Nutcracker, a fun-filled screening of Elf backed by a full orchestra, a swinging performance of holiday standards and a seasonal favourite: Handel’s Messiah. Choose one or take in a few different shows—they’re all uniquely enjoyable. TL Insiders can enter to win two tickets to the performance of their choice. Good luck to all entrants!
Royal Agricultural Winter Fair There’s a reason thousands of people flock to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair every year—it’s an exceptional event that offers something for everyone. This year, TL Insiders have the opportunity to enjoy an incredible meal prepared by Chef Coulson Armstrong before attending an evening at the Royal Horse Show—a series of exciting equine events including the Percheron Six Horse Hitch, Royal Drumline and the International Speed Challenge. This innovative dining experience will take place on Friday, November 8 starting at 5:30 p.m.
