New to the LCBO: Iron Maiden’s badass beer

Iron Maiden fans are intense. Just ask Marcos Motolo, the Brazilian priest who festooned his body with 162 Maiden tattoos, or the British guy who changed his name to match the band’s. Now hard-core devotees can prove their fealty by slamming bottles of Trooper, a cask ale named after the band’s 1983 single. The beer, which hit LCBO shelves at the end of September, is a hoppy golden ale with malt flavours, hints of lemon and, most importantly, a creepy label emblazoned with mascot Eddie the Head.
Wait, won’t this promote overdrinking and absolute mayhem in the streets of Toronto? Riots and big fires, gaping caverns to hell opening up down Yonge Street, churches let out early. Oh stop the madness!
I work at the LCBO; it has not hit the shelves yet. There are ~6000 bottles at the warehouse in Durham as of last week. Even the LCBO website will tell you, if you click on “All Cities” that no store currently lists or stocks it.
Thanks for the info. Any update on this?
I have emailed the LCBO with an inquiry as I have not been able to find any in stock anywhere either.
the page for the beer on the lcbo site shows stock just tell it to show all cities…

Were you able to get hold of the Iron Maiden ale in the end?
