Let’s be clear: we here at the Dish are nothing but chuffed that Toronto seems awash in house-made bitters and 50 types of single-barrel bourbon (witness our All Mixed Up series). But we can’t help but laugh at this song, from San Francisco collective Fog and Smog, which cheekily skewers the cocktail scene—from the beat, made up of clinking glass sounds, to a giant ice cube that won’t fit in its tumbler. The chorus: “Hey Mister mixologist / Did you have to go to college for this / It seems like you’ve got some knowledge, it’s just / A cocktail for $20 plus tip? Shit!” Oh, and incidentally, if you think you’ve got the requisite mixological skills without the associated mixological pretensions, Momofuku is currently hiring. [h/t Eater]
