What ever happened to the 20 Minute Workout women who were on Citytv in the ’80s? I remember seeing Bess in a small role in The Terminator.

The 20 Minute Workout dates back to 1983, when American photographer Ron Harris pitched the concept of spandexed models contorting themselves atop giant turntables (all in the name of fitness, of course) to Hogtown’s ever high-minded Citytv. In a two-season marathon of jumping jacks and deep knee bends, the crew shot 95 episodes, enough fodder for an eternity of reruns. Unfortunately, the “exposure” the actor-aerobicists received didn’t, for the most part, translate into fame. Show leader Bess (“Five more, four more...”) Motta did land the role of Linda Hamilton’s roommate in The Terminator and appeared in a number of B movies, but the rest of the talent disappeared into obscurity. Harris, meanwhile, went on to produce Nude Aerobics before opening the world’s first on-line auction site for human eggs and sperm, thus taking the Workout’s quest for physical perfection in a deeply creepy new direction.”"
