Hot Docs
North America’s largest documentary film festival is showing more than 170 films from more than 35 countries this year. Highlights include Sundance award-winners Blood Brother and Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer and Fight Like Soldiers, Die Like Children, which follows former general and activist Roméo Dallaire in his crusade to end the use of child soldiers in war-ravaged regions around the world. $15 per film. THEATRE
Night of the Living Dead Live
The interactive stage production interprets George A. Romero’s classic zombie flick Night of The Living Dead. The audience is placed in a farmhouse set piece and fight off hoards of the undead alongside the cast. It’s the next best thing to being in an episode of The Walking Dead. $20. April 23-May 19. Stars on Ice
